Help

Common questions about completing the Samanga website requirements questionnaire.

Do I have to finish the questionnaire in one sitting?

No. Your answers save automatically a moment after you stop typing, and again whenever you move between sections. Close the page whenever you like and use “Continue questionnaire” on your dashboard to pick up where you left off.

What does the save indicator mean?

“Saving…” means a save is in progress. “All changes saved” means the server has confirmed it. “Save failed — retrying” means a save did not go through and the portal is trying again. “Offline changes pending” means your connection dropped; your answers are held safely in the browser and sent as soon as you are back online.

Which questions are compulsory?

Required questions are marked with a red asterisk. You can save a partly finished section at any time, but you will not be able to mark it complete until the required answers are filled in.

Why can I not see the Products or Projects section?

Those sections appear only if you answered “Yes” to the corresponding question in the Department Profile section. Change your answer there and the sections will reappear.

Why is the Technical Access section hidden?

Section 14 is restricted to Super Administrators and the Information Technology department, because it records how the existing website infrastructure is managed.

Should I enter passwords anywhere?

Never. This portal has no password fields for third-party systems and never will. If the website team needs access to hosting, DNS or analytics, share those credentials through an approved secure channel instead.

What happens after I submit?

Your questionnaire locks and moves to the review team. If they need anything changed they will request a correction, which reopens the relevant sections and notifies you. Once everything is settled, the submission is approved and no further action is needed.

Who can see what I have entered?

Your department’s managers, plus the project administrators and management reviewers. Managers from other departments cannot see your answers — this is enforced by the database, not just by the interface.

What happens to files I upload?

They go into private storage. They are never publicly accessible, and they are opened only through a temporary secure link generated after your permission has been checked.

Still stuck?

Contact your project administrator. If you were invited by email, replying to that invitation reaches the right person.
